Welcome
Madison Park is a prize patch of heaven nestled in a quiet pocket of the valley and protected by mountains on 3 sides.
The land is flat and fertile and at the rear it drops to another level of beautiful, manicured creek flats where the seasonal stream winds between tall trees. There is a permanent spring with crystal clear water, huge figs, blue gums and camphor laurels and perfect picnic spots around every bend.
Behind the lots the land rises up steeply about 15m and this thickly forested, natural buffer gives a feeling of seclusion and privacy as well as protection from strong winds.
The fertile soil drains beautifully even after constant rain. Madison Park must have been one of the few places in South East Queensland in the floods where horses weren't standing in mud.
Madison Park is horse heaven. It was created as an agistment property in 2003 with figs planted in the corners of the yards and lilypilly hedges around the fences. The figs, now 10 metres high, meet in the middle of the central laneway and form beautiful arches - see the gallery.
The pony trail runs past the front door and is part of a network of trails that cover the valley and surrounding mountains. The pony club is a 10 minute ride or 2 minute drive and just 7 minutes away is Samford village, the focal point of the Valley.
Samford Valley
Samford Valley is another world, a semi-rural enclave, hidden behind a range and just 30 minutes northwest from the Brisbane CBD.
The focal point is Samford Village. It is a true village and the perfect size with all the amenities, first class coffee shops and a welcoming, established community.
The valley has a thriving equestrian community with clubs, facilities, instructors, clinics, produces and a vet hospital.
